Kan-ed Services

Kan-ed offers services in three broad areas:

Connectivity to the private, intra-state Kan-ed network and to Internet2 - Kan-ed provides high-quality network connectivity linking schools, libraries and hospitals in Kansas to similar institutions within the state and throughout the country.

Support several varieties of video activity - Kan-ed provides an excellent infrastructure for video applications due to its high bandwidth, low latency and Quality of Services controls.

Assistance accessing online content of interest to the Kan-ed constituency - To encourage the use of the network infrastructure, Kan-ed provides various forms of online content, and actively explores innovative applications of networking technology and methods for content discovery and delivery.
